Jackie Care
Jackie began her real estate career in 2001 and works with sellers and buyers of residential real estate in the cities of Berkeley, Oakland, Piedmont, and surrounding areas.
As a long-time East Bay resident, selling real estate means being a trusted advisor and a reliable resource for her clients and community.
The majority of Jackie’s business is by referral and her numerous 5-Star Zillow Premier agent reviews are a testament to her client advocacy, personalized service, and truly superior client care.
Jackie spent her childhood living in England and West Africa. As a teenage art school dropout she emigrated to the U.S. and supported herself by cleaning houses, sewing costumes for the theater, and eventually (to the relief of her mother!) embarked on a 20-year career in fashion living and working in Asia and the U.S.
Her connections with the theater in the nascent epidemic of the 1980s led to her manning the hotline for The San Francisco AIDS Foundation and a lifelong commitment to this cause. Jackie sits on her brokerage community funds board and is a longtime fundraiser for Oakland school Think College Now and she donates to numerous organizations at the close of each escrow.
