Where are the homes built?

Currently we are constructing houses in Guatemala. Why Guatemala?

How much do the homes cost?

The cost of construction of the homes we typically fund are $3300. The home is simple, yet solid. They include a water filter system, high efficient wood burning stove, a bunk bed and, additionally, a bag of groceries as a housewarming gift.

Who pays the cost of the homes?

Real estate agents and mortgage consultants affiliated with the program donate a portion of their commission earned when representing a buyer of a piece of real estate. The portion of their commission is used to individually fund the construction of a home for a family in need.

Who builds the homes?

We are partnering with organizations that are registered non-profits in Guatemala and have 501(c)(3) status in the United States to manage all of the construction. We do this to help provide jobs to local Guatemalans instead of relying on volunteers from abroad.
