Hi! My name is Heather Luce and I am the proud broker/owner of the KC LOCAL HOMES real estate firm. I am a KC native and love to share my passion about our great city. I really enjoy establishing unique relationships with everyone I meet. I started my career in 2015 at a large, traditional real estate franchise. I was on a top producing team for the first year, but generated a lot of my own business so decided to go out on my own. I started a team shortly after called KC LOCAL HOMES, and enjoyed the leadership role while still helping my client base. Diving deeper into management, I quickly realized the company we were with did not align with our values as a team, and in 2019 we decided to leave that company. We joined a partnership with a local development company, and opened their residential division called Briarcliff Brokerage. Within a year, they were bought out by a national firm and our managing broker took an opportunity with another company. I got my brokers license immediately, and we started an exit plan to become fully independent. Keeping the KC LOCAL HOMES name, we moved downtown at the end of 2020. We have grown our team and business, and are proud to be a locally owned boutique brokerage. I love this city full of makers and doers, and the art scene is unmatched. We try to support local businesses in everything that we do, and have met some of the most incredible people from that. I feel very fortunate to be on this path and to have found a career that fits my lifestyle so well. Being a small local business means we get to focus on helping others and representing our clients fully, while giving a lot of freedom to have fun while doing it.
