Barb moved to Orinda with her family as a young girl and attended Miramonte High School and swam at Meadow Swim Club before heading off to UCLA and Loyola Law School. Her mother Maxine was a successful real estate Broker who with her partners’ built the Better Homes building on Mt. Diablo Blvd in Lafayette.

After practicing law, Barb took over her family’s residential property management business. She is now with the Kurt Piper Group (KPG) which has closed over 650 real estate transactions for Bay Area families.
